How to Make This Recipe
In just 5 minutes, you'll have a sweet and tangy pineapple juice marinade ready for any meat you choose.
Simply whisk all the ingredients together in a medium bowl, and add them to a large plastic storage bag. Then add your meat to the bag. Seal tightly and let the meat marinate for at least 1-2 hours in the refrigerator. Cook as desired.
Why is Pineapple Juice a Good Marinade?
Pineapple juice makes a great base for marinade not only because it gives the meat a rich and tangy flavor, but it also helps tenderize the meat while it marinates. A natural enzyme in pineapple actually softens the meat as it marinates by dividing the proteins in the meat.
