Simple and delicious, this Easy Taco Dip is your go-to for any gathering. With a creamy base, and layers of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and dairy-free shredded cheese it's easily adaptable to any allergy, diet, or taste.

No dairy? No problem! Most appetizers contain some type of dairy (think cheese platters and endless dips). Scanning the appetizers at parties, I always felt left out. That's why this layered taco dip is dairy-free, so now that's a thing of the past. This will be your new favorite dairy-free appetizer.
Each layer of this easy taco dip comes together with an endless burst of flavor. Try it for your next gathering. It won't last long and no one will know it's dairy-free.

- Add the onion and taco seasoning and mix until creamy.
- In a 9-inch pie pan spread the mixture evenly into the pan. This is your first layer.
- Layer with shredded lettuce, dairy-free shredded cheese, and diced tomatoes.
- Layer optional toppings as desired.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve.
- Serve with gluten-free tortilla chips.
Make this easy taco dip up to 1 day ahead. It will stay fresh for 2-4 days covered in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
Note: If you're using refried beans or guacamole layer them after the cream cheese mixture.
